CONTEXT
Internews in Moldova is looking for a market research consultant/expert with a good understanding of the Moldovan digital news environment. The consultant will analyze and frame the online news environment from an ad support perspective. The findings will be included in a research report. The expert will work closely with the Internews in Moldova team, under the guidance of Internews’ Ads for News (AFN) program.
Note: The methodology will be consulted and approved by Internews in Moldova. The market research should be ready by February 29, 2024.
DUTIES
- Research digital advertising market, trends, and forecasted developments;
- Conduct industry stakeholder interviews;
- Review secondary data and literature;
- Write the final research report in English (10-15 pages, plus appendices).

QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional understanding of the business environment for digital news media in Moldova;
- Experience working as a professional journalist, media industry professional, or media academic;
- Strong command of the English language;
- Market research and analysis experience;
- Analytical mindset with the ability to work systematically;
- Well-developed writing skills (research report examples a plus).
